I remember this song in the movie Raw Deal starring Arnold Schwarzenegger beginning part where he was chasing after the guy with his jeep 😂😂😂

Absolutely love the Pitts! I'm a pilot, but also fly RC aerobatics. I have 5 Pitts of varying sizes that I love to fly, especially when I do the the Lommy! Michael
Fantastic! Thanks for your comment, Michael. My father was a manager at Phillip Morris back in the ‘80s and he was friends with Phillip Meeson, who was aerobatic champion and lead pilot of this team. I was lucky enough to be invited to experience some flying with him in the S2… an unforgettable experience, of course. Back in the days where tobacco advertising was still allowed! Would love to see your RC Pitts, do you have any video footage?
Yeahh!!!
Very very nice rendition. Albert Lee, thanks.
Take it our car in HN jaya motor if you can and bring to your showroom thanks
Seen and got talking to Albert & Hogan's 5/6 times in the Bridge House Hotel Tullamore in the early 2000's, and then in Ballinlough Castle Country fest 2004 other artists included Guy Clark, Kenny Rogers Glen Campbell Dwight Yokham , Buck Owens had been booked but he passed away few days previous🙏,

@@Dolek135He hurt you didn't he?
1:30 Jesus that was one of the most massive over steer moments, where he just keeps it pinned with a wall right there. Granted if he lifted he probably would have spun, But man… balls of steel.
Nice version of one of John’s best songs!
…..Excellent, thank you.
This is the circuit that coulthard announced his retirement from f1 and got replaced vettel who went on to become a 4 time champion with red bull
Странно, на его месте должен был быть Физикелла
Saw this incredible artist a few times over the years and the recent show was in a small theatre in Eastbourne in East Sussex in front of a small audience and I loved every single minute. Back in 2001 I was invited to meet up with the Crickets up in Sheffield and it was so special to talk to the late J I Allison, Sonny Curtis and Joe Mauldin about their musical lives over the years and the name Albert Lee came up many times during our chats. "Total professional, loyal, dependable and so, so talented preferring to keep out of the limelight ". Thank you Jack for sharing these wonderful Albert Lee videos.
Heidfeld, Kubica, Montoya are world championship level racers.
And don't forget Felipe massa
Lovely cover of a beautiful song
Thanks for your comment Michael, and I agree!
He’s up there with The Rolling Stones. A legend Albert.
Love it.
Hi
The best, most beautiful version.
Thanks for your comment Barbara, I agree 100%.❤️
Heidfeld drove as good as Kubica in those BMW years.
I have to disagree kubica was simply on another level then heidfeld, no disrespect to him but kubica was just more consistent
2007 was Heidfelds year for BMW, 2008 was Kubicas
@@joshcaminski nah, I think Kubica was a little bit better but not like... another level
@@gedhoughton9523My take is 2007 Heidfeld was better 2008 Kubica was better 2009 Both were equal to each other
Buddy was fabulous songwriter all over by 22 ❤️🙏- but not over as his music he did write lives on - thanks to Albert . ❤️❤️❤️👍
Thanks for your comment Martin, you’re exactly right.👍
That was beautiful.
Classic Everly song which I cannot find a clip of them singing it live. I think I recall Albert saying that they did not perform it very often for "reasons unknown ". maybe they could not agree about that. Shame about that
4:48 is that a stall roll?
I only ever heard Philip describe it as a "stall turn" or "hammerhead turn", the roll would be a separate element, I imagine. The manoeuvre at that point in the video does feature the vertical climb, but the pilot doesn't quite go into a stall. Perhaps there's a different name for that exact manoeuvre, but I'm afraid I don't know it.
I have a question, what is the name of that stunt of flying straight up and turning off the engines and falling?
I’m no expert on aerobatics, but from what I remember it’s called a “stall turn”. Also, I’m pretty sure I remember Philip Meeson throttling down, not switching off completely!
Video is high-quality & Albert sounds fantastic😀
Thanks for your comment, Denise. I tried to get front row seats so I could get a good view, but it’s just a cheap point&shoot camera , using the built-in microphone!
@@JackFeelsNerves couldn't be better!
Interesting how he uses his left hand thumb to fret the notes.
Thanks for you comment, John. Many players use that technique when it’s easier, or when a full barred chord is unnecessary or not desired. Also, when playing with a bass player, although playing the root note of the chord usually isn’t needed, the root note on the guitar is an octave (or 2) higher, or perhaps the bass player is playing some other note than the root. Chord voicings can sound more open using the thumb, especially when the 5th sting note is not being played. I hope that makes sense?
He loves chicken.
Fernando Alonso Cooking Guide.
More like "Fernando Alonso Cooking Guide" tbh.
Nicely done. I really enjoyed this cover!
Thanks for your comment, Tim.😎
the altimete bit made me laugh, must have moved that plane a few miles down in elevation for it to be that far off ahahah
Haha! I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out! Thanks for your comment.
Thanks I forgot parts of the song from years ago and my cousin has a piano and told me to play thanks for helping me regain my memory
Haha! Glad it helped someone, my daughter has now got to grade 6 and I can’t keep up! I will try to record more of her pieces.
@@JackFeelsNerves the grades only get harder that’s why I stopped
@@jonathanshaw6723 Indeed, I got to Grade 5 on flute, but then decided to teach myself guitar, mainly because I wanted to sing. Unless you’re Ian Anderson, it ain’t gonna happen on the flute!😁
Jokes aside, this is a great lap guide! Enjoyed watching that, pretty fun!
At last! Someone who understands why this exists, thanks for your comment.👍
Always love John Stewart songs. Albert sings this one really great. Thanks Al.
Thanks for your comment, Richard. Albert recorded this song on the album "Like This" and it was immediately one of the stand-out tracks. I had never heard a John Stewart song before, so I began exploring some other material by him. That's one of the many things I like about Albert Lee and his bands; they're keeping the golden old 'uns alive, and by doing so, they are introducing great music to new listeners!😎
Giants still walk among us, folks! Let Albert add some enlightenment into your day.
Thanks for your great comment, Andrew! I felt exactly like that every time I was privileged enough to experience Albert and Hogan’s Heroes, both during the gig and afterwards when they ALWAYS gave their time generously to meet fans. Precious memories indeed, because presently they are not touring anymore.
@@JackFeelsNerves Hi Jack, Thanks for the compliment. Have you read Albert Lee`s book yet?
@@andrewtaylor7484 The biography by Derek Watts? Yes, there are plenty of highlights in there. I had him sign it for me as well, of course!😎
@@JackFeelsNerves Do you enjoy chatting about music in general
Worth it just for the 80s fashion! :-)
I'm a huge Albert Lee fan and I was lucky to see and meet him after 2 shows in my hometown Dortmund in Germany. When I told him about my Buddy Holly Fan Pages called Buddy Holly Lives Info he gave me a lot of DVD's and CD's with autographs of him and all of Hogan's Heroes. You can read about it on my homepage, if you are interested. Cheers, Hans, editor
Thank for you comment Hans, sorry for the delay in replying. I've visited Dortmund for a family member's birthday... all I remember is shouting: "BVB!!!" all night.😂 Indeed, Albert and his band are always very generous with their time, meeting them after gigs was fantastic. You refer to your homepage, but you haven't posted a link. I have subscribed your YT channel.🤓
@@JackFeelsNerves Hi Jack, thanx for your answer, much appreciated. You asked for a link to my fan pages, here it is www.buddyhollylives.info Cheers, Hans.
@@buddyhollylives Thanks very much Hans, I'll have a look at that.
On a vu Montoya et Bourdais échouer en F1 comme Grosjean à peu de chances de briller en Indy...9a se ressemble mais ce n'est pas du tout la même discipline
Handy. I've got this on VHS, just found it at the back of a cupboard and was wondering where my old VHS recorder might be. Then thought, "Maybe it's on YT" This film had me buying an Extra 230 (Brian Lecomber's old plane after it was rebuilt by Hawker Restorations), and later an S2B...and then an Extra 200...followed by a Giles G202. So it cost me a bloody fortune. But it was all a lot of fun. I also flew out of South Cerney as a staff cadet when I was a nipper. Trying to rip the wings off Slingsby Venture powered gliders. God only knows how I survived that. Good to see the old control tower that we used to sleep in. And that I once found my moped on top of. Bastards.
Thanks for your comment, I'm happy I saved you the pain of finding the old VHS player. Cool stories, thanks for sharing!
Gavin povey and his band are just class . Before covid they would play the dalkey duck once a month and they were soooo good.
Thanks for your comment, Gary. Yes, when Gavin Povey took over piano duties in Hogan's Heroes I felt he was one of the best. I even took my (then) 80-year-old mother to a few gigs and Gavin even remembered her name and where she was from when he met her again a year later. Class act.👌
THANKFUL ALBERT LEE ... 💌
THANKFUL ... 💌

"Chicken" "Egg" "Prawns" You are not the cook, you are the entire kitchen
This is a great version of an incredible song. Unfortunately the recording didn't pick up Albert's voice as well as it could have.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, I was only using a point-and-shoot camera with the built in mic, holding it on my lap to avoid being told to stop! I think this is the last gig I attended, so it’s quite precious anyway... Albert doesn’t tour with this band anymore, and sadly he hasn’t been in Ireland for a few years now.

Brilliant performance by Peter Baron.
Thanks for your comment.😊 I agree, it's one thing to sound good in the studio (and Peter's rendition on the album Tear It Up is very good), but quite another to do it live. There was usually at least one song in the set on which Peter Baron takes the lead vocal, and it's always impressive. His "Oh Darling" by The Beatles is one of my favourites. I never managed to capture it, unfortunately.
Ivan version. Mild one with fancy guitar. Should smash it like Who or set fire to it or act like Iggy. That’s what a Wild One singer sings up for
What do you mean?
